CAPSTONE WORKSHOP
Integrative Capstone Workshop
The Integrative Capstone Workshop serves as the culminating educational experience for students in the M.S. in Sustainability Science Program, designed to integrate the distinct fields of the program’s sustainability science curriculum. Students must draw on both the practical skills and the analytical knowledge they have gained in order to address crucial sustainability issues as consultants for a real-world client.
Capstone Workshop Reports
The final reports and briefings from previous editions of the Integrative Capstone Workshop can be found below:
Due to high demand and to ensure students are prepared for the Workshop, only students who
1) have completed one course in each Curriculum Area; or
2) are in their final semester in the program are eligible to enroll.

We are looking for project proposals for our Capstone Workshop course for the Master of Science in Sustainability Management and Sustainability Science programs at the School of Professional Studies in partnership with the Columbia Climate School. The capstone course promises to provide students with experience in conducting original sustainability-focused research and substantive analysis. We are especially interested in sustainability projects that address the interconnection between the environment and equity.
